Remote Desktop Connection Question

Is there some way that I can use remote desktop without it locking the user's screen? As if i'm trying to troubleshoot a problem over the network i want them to be able to see what i'm doing to their machine so they can learn, but I can't figure out how to do it. I don't need it to have dual keyboard and mouse input, I just need the monitor on their end to be enabled as well as mine. Possibly a third-party program is available for this?

Name Servers - Dnsmasq

In Linux, BIND is the most widely used DNS server package. However, most people who are just starting out tend find it very difficult to deal with BIND's many options. There is another package that few people have heard of, called dnsmasq - it's a nifty super-lightweight name server, which is very easy to configure. But first of all, let me explain what a name server is: it's a machine that holds a database against which it's performing look-ups in order to translate host names to I

Last Rule In .htaccess

I am not particularly good when it comes to regular expressions and forming a .htaccess file, so I knew I would run into a problem sooner or later. At the moment, I am developing a simple PHP script for a game similar to NotPr0n. Since the whole structure (i.e. possible URLs) is rather simple, I decided to write a set of rules manually. However, there is some overlapping, and it is causing

I've been doing tech support for roughly two years now, and one of my friends is unable to connect to his wireless d-link router. I came over and had a look at it, and everything seemed fine for the most part, except the fact that the connection wasn't working. After about half an hour of trying different methods of resetting, replugging, ect., i figured the d-link router was bad. So I brought it to my house and h

And so I decided that it was time to purchase a new wireless router. Even though, the newest computer I have is wireless g, I went for the wireless n because of the increased range, and the thought that i
