Just wondering which search engine do you guys use for research or plainly looking up something in the web. Google? Yahoo? Lycos? Hotbot? Dogpile? Or do you know of any other search engine in the web, share it with us. I used to go with Yahoo or Lycos. Now, i just Google.

Sharing Printer On Another Computer
I have 3 computers that are all connected wirelessly and are able to share files. All have files and printer sharing enabled also.I have my laptop here that's connected to a USB printer. I shared the printer and just called it Printer. I tried to connect to this printer from one of the other computers and added it via Network->Server option. I typed in \\laptopsComputername\Printer and it automatically changed the shared name to the actual printer name I have on my laptop.

If you get the right router people will be able to get in but be in hacker limbo unless there extreamly skilled, and those people probably wont hack you but go after bigger fish (unless you are a big fish)What do you think?

I've been getting into doing wired networking for my house and I've just been wondering why Cat5 cable is so expensive? I just got a 15 cable a month or so ago and the crap took $30 out of my pocket when just the other day I asked one of my buddies for some cat5 from the place he hangs out and BOOM 25 feet of cat5 for F-R-E-E! I have to admit that it isn't the best looking thing in the world but still why pay so much cash just for looks?

I'm going to by Wi-Fi AP.There are many standarts of Wi-Fi. I'm thinking of speeds 54 (802.11g) and 108 mb/s (802.11g). Is it real 108 mb/s (13.5 MB/s) or not? What will work better in a flat? Issues With Accessing The Internet
My ISP is quite special. I have a cable 512k connection from them, but it's shared between 10 users and in addition they won't troubleshoot it for me if i have more than one computer connected.
